STEPHENS CITY — Sherando won eight matches by at least six games in defeating James Wood in a Class 4 Northwestern District match on Tuesday.

The Warriors are 4-0 (2-0 district).

Singles winners: No. 1 Katie Freilich 8-1; No. 2 Gabriella Koch 8-2; No. 3 Hailey Reynolds 8-1; No. 4 Leah Zaraczak 8-1; No. 5 Nya Patten 8-2; No. 6 Madison Cowden 9-8 (5).

Doubles winners: No. 1 Freilich/Koch 8-2; No. 2 Reynolds/Patten 8-1; No. 3 Zarasczak/Sophia Kemp 8-1.
