Judges 6, Colonels 3

WINCHESTER- Handley remained undefeated in the Northwestern District with a win Thursday at James Wood.

Kathryn Bock (No. 2), Sparkle Kitchin (No. 3), Madeline Hardy (No. 5) and Emily Smith (No. 6) won in singles for the Judges (12-2, 6-0).

At No. 1, James Wood's Headley Wilson edged Jessie Nolan 11-9 to sweep the regular season series between the district's top two players.

But Handley's No. 1 doubles team of Nolan and Bock defeated Wilson and Tarah Wampler 10-4.

Wood also got a singles win from Emily Purnell (No. 4) and a victory at No. 2 doubles.
