Softball: Colonels 3, Judges 2

WINCHESTER — Sophomore Whitney Dick came through win an RBI triple to drive in teammate Amanda Higgins sixth inning for what would prove to be the game-winning run for the Colonels in a victory over Handley Tuesday.

James Wood (7-8, 6-2 Northwestern District) got a complete-game four-hitter from sophomore Kierstyn Peacoe, who struck out nine and walked none.

Sophomore Jessy Shipman scored both of Handley’s runs and sister Jody took the loss in the circle for the Judges.
