SOFTBALL - Colonels 18, Judges 3

WINCHESTER — James Wood scored at least three runs in all five innings of a mercy-rule shortened win over Handley Monday.

Sophomore pitcher Sarah Garis notched a win in her first varsity start, allowing three hits over five innings while striking out six for the Colonels (1-2, 1-0 Northwestern District).

Whitney Dick went 3 for 3 with three runs scored and Kayla Seal finished 2 for 4 with three RBIs and a two-run home run.

Junior Oakley Johnson went 2 for 2 with a walk and a double for the Judges (0-1, 0-1).
