Softball - Warriors 11, Colonels 10

STEPHENS CITY — Sherando scored two runs on three James Wood errors in the bottom of the seventh inning to pull out a win at home Tuesday.

The Warriors led 9-6 after five innings, watched the Colonels (3-8, 2-4 Northwestern District) score twice in the sixth and seventh and then responded with two runs of their own for the victory.

Junior Heidi Brown went all seven innings in the circle for the win, striking out three and walking one, and Katie Manson and Sara Stickman each went 3 for 4 at the plate.

Senior Whitney Dick went 3 for 4 with three RBIs and freshman Alyssa Brown went 3 for 3 with three runs scored in the loss.
