LEESBURG — Loudoun County pounded out 17 hits, including four home runs, and James Wood had its season end in a five-inning loss due to the run rule.
The Colonels (5-16) were limited to just five hits, with Kierstyn Peacoe going 2 for 2 and Taylor Rizzari, Kayla Seal and Taylor Woolsey all recording a hit in the loss.
