WINCHESTER — Lani Spielman pitched a shutout to lead James Wood to win over North Hagerstown (Md.) on Monday.
Spielman allowed only two hits and struck out 11 for the Colonels (7-2). Lauren King (double) and Camrynn Rizzari each went 2 for 3 with three RBIs, and Haley Kaiser (double) and Spielman (RBI) each went 2 for 4.
