WINCHESTER — Woodgrove’s A.D. Erickson belted a grand slam in the sixth inning to break open a tight game against James Wood in Conference 21 West action.
Lani Spielman went the first four innings for the Colonels, allowing just one run. Reliever Lauren King struck out six in three innings, but surrendered the big blow to Erickson. Lindsey Anderson was 1 for 3 for the Colonels (10-3, 2-1).
