Colonels’ Spielman Fires Perfect Game In Triumph Over Judges

WINCHESTER — Lani Spielman tossed a five-inning perfect game as James Wood blanked Handley 16-0 in Northwestern District softball action on Wednesday.

Spielman took care of most of the outs herself by recording nine strikeouts.

Taylor Woolsey (triple, four RBIs) and Lindsey Anderson (triple, two RBIs) led the offense with three hits each. Courteney Harper (four RBIs), Lauren King (double) and Caleigh Haskiell added two hits each.
