Softball loses to Handley

Winchester — The Handley High School softball team battled through frigid weather and a tough first inning to eventually crush host James Wood 20-4 in a Northwestern District game Friday.

After scoring four runs in the first inning and then giving up three, Handley rallied behind its offense and scored 11 runs over the next four innings.
