WINCHESTER — Third-seeded James Wood beat No. 6 Millbrook 10-0 in a game shortened to five innings because of the mercy rule at Ridge Field on Friday.
No other details were provided. James Wood (14-6) will play No. 2 Sherando at 6 p.m. on Monday at Ridge Field in the semifinals, but the Warriors will be the home team.
Millbrook ends the year at 0-21.
