WINCHESTER — Lani Spielman struck out 10 batters and allowed five hits in a complete game to help James Wood defeat Spring Mills (W.Va.) on Monday

The Colonels (5-0) were also led by Lindsey Anderson (3 for 4 with a home run, double and two RBIs), McKenzie McCarty (3 for 4 with a double and three RBIs) Courteney Harper (3 for 4 with a double) and Rebecca Boone (2 for 2 with an RBI).
