WINCHESTER — Lauren King tossed a five-hitter as James Wood notched a Conference 21 West triumph over Harrisonburg on Tuesday.

King struck out seven, plus helped herself by driving in a pair of runs while going 2 for 3 at the plate. Lani Spielman was 2 for 3 with a pair of doubles and drove in a run for the Colonels (13-1). Haley Kaiser (triple), Lindsey Anderson (double, RBI) and Alyssa Brown added a hit.
