WINCHESTER — Courteney Harper went 4 for 4 with two triples, a double and drove in four runs as James Wood whipped Handley in a Conference 21 clash

Lani Spielman struck out 11 in her five-inning stint in the circle and went 3 for 4 with a double at the plate. Afton Syles smacked a triple and went 3 for 3 with two RBIs and Alyssa Brown was 3 for 4 with two RBIs.

James Wood is the No. 2 seed for the Conference 21 West Tournament and will not play until Friday’s semifinals. No. 6 Handley plays at No. 3 Sherando on Wednesday.
