Softball - Fauquier 2, James Wood 2 (tie)

WINCHESTER — James Wood and Fauquier were tied 2-2 halfway through the ninth inning on Tuesday when the game was called because of weather. Fauquier won the Class 4 Northwestern District title and an automatic Region 4C tournament berth as a result of the tie. James Wood (14-4-1, 8-3-1 district) needed to win its keep its hopes alive.
