All-Area Softball First Team

Lani Spielman — James Wood — Senior Pitcher

As a pitcher, Spielman was second in the area in wins (10-4-1), ERA (1.36) and strikeouts (114). As a hitter, led the area in home runs (8) and RBIs (37) while hitting .356. Class 4 Northwestern District Player of the Year, second team Region 4C. Will compete at Shepherd.

Lindsey Anderson — James Wood — Senior Catcher

Anderson was second in the area with 30 RBIs and tied for fourth in home runs (4) while hitting at a .408 clip and scoring 19 runs. First team All-Northwestern District selection. Will compete at Shepherd.

Korenn Paige — Sherando — Senior First Base

Paige hit .333 while driving in 19 runs and scoring 25. First team All-Northwestern District and second team All-Region 4C. Will compete at Eastern Mennonite.

Olivia Miller — James Wood — Freshman Second Base

Miller led the area with 11 stolen bases and was second in runs (32). Led the Colonels and sixth in the area with a .435 batting average. First team All-Northwestern District and Region 4C.

Sierra Strosnider — Sherando — Sophomore Shortstop

Strosnider was second in the area with six home runs, fourth in RBIs (28) and eighth with a .427 batting average. Also scored 20 runs. First team All-Northwestern District, second team All-Region 4C.

Tori Seymour — Sherando — Senior Third Base

Seymour was third in the area with five home runs, sixth in runs (25) and was eighth in RBIs (22), while hitting .395. First team All-Northwestern District, first team All-Region 4C. Will compete at Shepherd.

Katie Tirona — Millbrook — Senior Third Base

Tirona led the area with a .557 batting average. Was fifth in RBIs (25), tied for seventh in home runs (3) and tied for second in stolen bases (9). Second team All-Northwestern District. Will compete at Bridgewater.

Ivy Rosenberry — James Wood — Sophomore Outfield

As a hitter, Rosenberry was sixth in the area with a .436 average, third in RBIs (30), fifth in runs (26) and tied for fourth in home runs (4). As a pitcher, led the area with a 1.28 ERA and had a 7-1 record with five saves. First team All-Northwestern District, first team All-Region 4C.

Blake Conner — Sherando — Sophomore Outfield

Conner led the Warriors and was third in the area with a .462 average. Led the area in runs (34), tied for second in stolen bases (9) and drove in 19 runs. First team All-Northwestern District, second team All-Region 4C.

Brooke Moses — Sherando — Junior Outfield

Moses was 11th in the area with a .408 average. Tied for fourth with four home runs and was seventh with 23 RBIs. Also scored 18 runs. First Team All-Northwestern District, second team All-Region 4C.

Chelsea Trenary — Clarke County — Senior Utility

Trenary was ninth in the area with a .420 batting average, fourth in runs (27), sixth in RBIs (24) and tied for seventh in home runs (3) and swiped six bases. VHSL Class 2 first team All-State, first team All-Bull Run District, first team All-Region 2B. Will compete at Frostburg State.

Sophie Pell — Millbrook — Sophomore Utility

Pell batted .393, while scoring 19 runs and driving in 18. First team All-Northwestern District, second team All-Region 4C.

Megan Hicks — Clarke — Senior Pitcher

As a pitcher, Hicks led the area in wins (11-7), strikeouts (156) and innings (109) and was third with a 2.51 ERA. As a hitter, Hicks was second in the area with a .514 average, third in runs (31), tied for second in stolen bases (9) and tied for seventh in home runs (3). First team All-Bull Run District, second team All-Region 2B.

Alyssa Hoggatt — Clarke — Freshman Designated Hitter

Hoggatt was fourth in the area with a .441 average. Drove in 17 runs and scored 16. First team All-Bull Run District, first team All-Region 2B.
