WINCHESTER — Ivy Rosenberry broke the school single-season strikeout record, tossed a three-hitter and belted two solo homers as James Wood knocked off Liberty in Class 4 Northwestern District action.

The Colonels (12-4, 7-2 district) erupted for five runs in the first inning and cruised from there. Rosenberry gave up one earned run, walked three and struck out six to up her season total to 158, breaking the previous mark of 154. James Wood stole eight bases.
