Wood’s Rosenberry named Region 4C Player of the Year

James Wood junior pitcher Ivy Rosenberry was named the Region 4C Player of the Year to highlight the all-region team selections that were released on Monday.

Joining Rosenberry on the first team are Sherando freshman first baseman Isabel Hall, junior outfielder Blake Conner, and senior outfielder Brooke Moses.

The second team features Sherando junior catcher Veronika Lord, junior shortstop Sierra Strosnider and Lauren Smith (a designated player/flex selection), James Wood junior outfielder Mackenzie McCarty and Handley senior Meghan Stokes, who was picked as a utility player.
