James Wood routs Handley in softball

WINCHESTER — James Wood scored 12 runs in the first inning and went on to defeat Handley 21-0 in five innings in Class 4 Northwestern District softball action on Thursday.

The Colonels (1-0) had 15 hits and 11 walks against the Judges (0-2), who had one hit.
