WINCHESTER — James Wood scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth to walk off with a mercy-rule win over Warren County on Thursday.

The Colonels (15-3) had 11 hits in the contest. Cadence Rieg allowed three hits, a run and two walks while striking out seven in five innings. Sophia Gerald (two strikeouts) pitched a perfect sixth.
