Cadence Rieg

James Wood — Senior

Pitcher

Led the Colonels to the Class 4 quarterfinals with a 7-1 record and 1.85 ERA. Also an outfielder, hit .444 with six homers, 18 RBIs and an area-best 35 runs scored. First Team All-State, All-Region 4D and All-Class 4 Northwestern District. Was district Co-Player of the Year.

Lily Wray

Sherando — Sophomore

Pitcher

Went 10-4 for the Warriors with a 1.04 ERA. Struck out 131 and walked just five batters in 94 innings. As a hitter, batted .375. Class 4 Northwestern District Co-Player of the Year, All-Region 4D First Team, Class 4 All-State Second Team.

Anna Hornbaker

Clarke County — Senior

Pitcher

Led the area in wins (12) and strikeouts (154) with a 1.80 ERA over 109 innings. As a hitter, was second in the area with a .516 average and was third with four homers and 29 RBIs. First Team All-Bull Run District and Second Team All-Region 2B.

Aliza Judd

James Wood — Junior

Catcher

A rare left-handed catcher, Judd hit .443 and was second in the area with 31 RBIs. Selected First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District and Second Team All-Region 4D.

Kaylen Giza

Millbrook — Freshman

First base

Hit .392, scored a team-best 25 runs and drove in 14 runs. Was a First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District selection.

Hit .468 and drove in 23 runs. First Team All-Region 4D and All-Class 4 Northwestern District.

Outstanding defender who hit .438 and had a .538 on-base percentage. Scored 19 runs and stole nine bases. First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District and Second Team All-Region 4D.

Hit .427 and scored 26 runs while driving in 24 runs. First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District.

Courtney Paskel

Outfield

Batted .365 while driving in 22 runs and scoring 27. Belted three homers. First Team All-Bull Run District and Second Team All-Region 2B.

Emma Martin

Millbrook — Sophomore

Primarily a pitcher, went 7-7 with a 4.25 ERA and was second in the area with 133 strikeouts in 85.2 innings. Hit .448 with two homers and 20 RBIs and had a .522 on-base percentage. First Team All-State, All-Region 4D and All-Class 4 Northwestern District.

Outfielder and pitcher was third in the area with a .475 average and drove in 16 runs. In the circle was 3-2 with a 2.88 ERA. First Team All-Class 4 Northwestern District and Second Team All-Region 4D.
