Softball: Colonels 6, Bulldogs 3
WINCHESTER — Second baseman Morgan Sykes went 3 for 4 and was a part of all three double plays James Wood turned defensively in a non-district win over visiting Martinsburg (W.Va.) Monday.
Whitney Dennis, Erin McCarthy and Morgan McCarthy each had two hits and an RBI for the Colonels (2-9). Lauren Myers (2-9) got the win, scattering six hits and allowing just one earned run in seven innings.
