Winchester — Sherando pounded out 17 hits, and Warrior pitcher Amanda Lutz shut out James Wood in a Northwestern District game Thursday.
Kourtney Paige went 3 for 5 and drove in three runs, and Lexi Meeker went 2 for 5 with three RBIs for the Warriors (11-5, 4-1).
Paige Mills went 2 for 3 and drove in two runs, and Lacie Taylor went 2 for 5 with a pair of RBIs for Sherando.
Lutz (9-3) allowed just two hits and struck out four.
Erin McCarthy went 2 for 3, and Megan Christian went 1 for 2 for the Colonels (2-13, 0-4).
