GIRLS’ TRACK - Colonels win 4-team meet

WINCHESTER — Rene Rosso won four individual events to lead James Wood to a victory in a quad meet at Millbrook Wednesday.

James Wood scored 95 points, Millbrook scored 33, Handley scored 22 and Mountain View Christian Academy scored eight.

Rosso won the 100 hurdles (17.53), the high jump (4-10), the long jump (16-31/2) and the triple jump (33-10). James Wood also received individual wins from Kara Norman (the 100 in 13.56), Princess Sales (the 200 in 27.69), Kayla Shaffer (the 300 hurdles in 53.15), Grace Greene (the shot put, 34-3) and Sarah Johnson (the discus, 114-4).

For Millbrook, Melany Groll won the 800 (2:34.89) and the 1,600 (6:05.08). The Pioneers also received wins from Kami Buza (the 400 in 1:06.44)

Erin Kim won the 3,200 for MVCA in 16:44.60.
