BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD - Colonels capture tri

WINCHESTER — James Wood scored 76 points to beat Strasburg (46) and Handley (45) in a tri meet at Kelican Stadium on Wednesday.

Individual winners for the Colonels were Donte Henry in the long jump (19 feet, 5 inches) and the triple jump (40-5), Ryan Rupp in the 400 (56.0), Max Lindquist in the 800 (2:12.40) Individuals who won for Handley were Landrum Beard in the high jump (5-10), Tyler Mudd in the 100 meters (12.00), John Delaney in the 1,600 (4:44.10), Arthur Ashe in the 200 (24.80) and Pedro Silverio in the 3,200 (11:12.00).
