WINCHESTER — James Wood scored 96.5 points to beat Handley (53.5) and Strasburg (15) in a tri meet at Kelican Stadium Wednesday.

Individual winners for the Colonels: Rene Rosso (triple jump, 33-2, 100 hurdles (17.6) and 300 hurdles (39.20), Grace Greene in the shot put (36-10) and discus (118-11), Haley Witt in the 1,600 (6:03.40) and Dy’Avean Sloane in the 400 (1:05.60). Handley winners: Taylor Beard in the long jump (15-0) and high jump (5-2), Alysandra Worrell in the 100 (13.6), Kristin Blake in the 800 (2:38.6) and Kenzi Fergus in the 3,200 (13:06.50).
