Girls' Track and Field - Colonels 111, Hawks 20

FRONT ROYAL — Rene Rosso captured four individual events, while Princess Sales and Grace Greene won two each to lead James Wood over Skyline on Tuesday.

Rosso was first in the 100 hurdles (16.06), 300 hurdles (49.82), high jump (4-9) and long jump (16-5.5). Sales sprinted to wins in the 100 (13.10) and 200 (27.83) and Greene took the shot put (36-6) and discus (122-3).

Bailey Blais (1:04.78 in the 400), Sophia Dorsey (6:05.21 in the 1,600) and Madelyn Cummins (14:16.32 in the 3,200) also were winners for the Colonels. Wood also swept the relays with Sales, Sophia Addison, Becca Ferrulli and Kara Norman winning the 400 (52.09), Dy’Avean Sloane, Sara Solomon, Ferrulli and Rosso taking the 1,600 (4:30.34) and Dorsey, Lydia Sunderlin, Madelyn Cummins and Katie Sunderlin capturing the 3,200 (12:22.10).
