BOYS’ TRACK & FIELD - Colonels capture tri-meet

WINCHESTER — Chris Vitagliano won a pair of events as James Wood scored a tri-meet win over Strasburg and Skyline on Wednesday.

The Colonels won with 98 points, while Strasburg (41) and Skyline (27) followed.

Vitagliano raced to a win in the 100 (11.70) and later soared to a triumph in the long jump (20-2).

Other Colonels individual winners were: Logan Owens (18.30 in the 110 hurdles), Cody Dahlinger (44.90 in the 300 hurdles) and Mason Bean (24.40 in the 200). James Wood also got wins in the 400 relay (46.20) and 3,200 relay (9:52.90).
