BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD - Colonels win quad meet

WINCHESTER — James Wood scored 126 points to win a quad meet with Sherando, Fauquier and Timber Ridge on Wednesday at Kelican Stadium.

The Warriors scored 59 points, the Falcons scored 12 and Timber Ridge did not score.

Winners for James Wood were Chris Vitagliano (200, 23.3 seconds, long jump 20 feet), William Crowder (100 meters, 11.1 seconds), Mason Bean (400, 55.8), Bryce Ratlieff (1,600, 4:55.9), Max Lindquist (3,200, 10:33.2), Cody Dahlinger (300 hurdles, 43.0), Dominic Revetta (shot put, 41-8), Chance Grove (discus, 125-8), the 4x100 team (Dahlinger, Jackson Clyburn, Vitagliano, Crowder) in 44.7, the 4x400 team (Tyler Ostinato, Clyburn, Vitagliano, Jacob Whitacre) in 3:41.7 and the 4x800 team (Lindquist, Ostinato, Jacksen Costa, Mason Costa) in 8:54.1.

Winners for Sherando were Jacob Carr (800, 2:11.3), Kyle Holliday (110 hurdles, 16.2) and Jabril Hayes (triple jump, 43-3.5).
