James Wood's Grove breaks 52-year-old school record in boys' discus
WINCHESTER — James Wood junior Chance Grove broke a 52-year-old school record in the discus with a mark of 162 feet and 8 inches to highlight action at the Class 4 Northwestern District mini track and field meet on Wednesday at James Wood. Grove broke the previous mark of 161-1 set by Chuck Marks in 1966. The Colonels won both the boys and girls competitions.
