CHARLES TOWN, W.Va.- Washington (W.Va.) outscored James Wood 23-9 in the first quarter en route to victory in a non-district game Wednesday.
For the Colonels (1-3), Cam Butler scored 14 points, Chad Potter had 13 points and nine rebounds, and Brett Lewin had eight points and six rebounds.
Jerome Jones scored 15 points to lead Washington.
