BEALETON — James Wood dropped its first game of the season with a non-district loss to Liberty Thursday night.
The Colonels (1-1) were led by Nick Foura (27 points), Ryland Williams (17 points), Michael Carter (14 points), Cam Butler (13 points) and Peyton Crickman (10 points).
C.J. Lindsay scored 33 points and Xavier Colbert had 30 points for Liberty.
