WINCHESTER — James Wood was unable to hold a 13-point halftime lead and lost in non-district action to Musselman (W.Va.) Monday night.

The Colonels (6-6) led 53-40 at the half, but the Applemen outscored James Wood 26-11 in the third quarter to take a two-point lead, then outscored the Colonels 31-26 in the fourth.

James Wood was led by Nick Foura (22 points), Ryland Williams (21 points, eight rebounds, seven assists), Cam Butler (17 points), Nick Goode (12 points) and Michael Carter (seven points, three steals).
