Falcons’ free throws clinch victory
By Jeremy Stafford -- Daily Staff Writer
WINCHESTER — During the Central Falcons’ latest practice, head coach Roger Wilkins made sure his team put a special emphasis on free-throw shooting. During the practice, each player was asked to step up to the line and try to put together a string of consecutive free throws.
The Falcons went 13-for-13.
That helps explain how the Falcons “weathered the storm” in their 75-65 win over the James Wood Colonels on Monday night.
