WINCHESTER — Branson Ratlief recorded 26 points and nine rebounds to lift the James Wood boys’ basketball team to its first win of the season, a 55-42 win over Park View, in non-district action Wednesday.

The Colonels (1-2) — who led 15-4 after one quarter and 31-12 at the half — also received 11 points, nine rebounds and five steals from Chandler Brooks and 10 points from Jacob Potter.
