Wood boys roll over Kettle Run

Winchester — Trae Tinsman led four James Wood double-figure scorers with 18 points Friday in a 92-47 Northwestern District boys’ basketball victory over Kettle Run.

The Colonels (5-11 overall, 5-6 in the district) also got 14 points from Matt Johnson, 12 from Ben Boxwell, and 10 from Jordan Dallmann.

James Wood scored 32 first-quarter points and never looked back in posting its highest offensive output of the season.

Andrew Oates led Wood with 12 rebounds. Boxwell and Garrett Cunningham added 11 and 10, respectively.

Spencer Carter led Kettle Run with 17 points.
