WINCHESTER — Woodgrove outscored James Wood 5-3 in the second overtime to emerge with a win in a Conference 21A game that was close throughout.

The Colonels (2-1, 0-1 Conference 21A) had a chance to win the game with a 3-pointer at the end of the first overtime and had a chance to tie with an eight-foot shot at the end of the second overtime, but missed both attempts. James Wood also missed 12 of 19 free throws.

The Colonels were led by Chandler Brooks (15 points, nine rebounds), Aidan Houser (14 points), and Robert Jackson (eight rebounds).
