BOYS’ BASKETBALL - Colonels 92, Panthers 29

WINCHESTER — James Wood sophomore Chandler Brooks scored 17 points and had seven rebounds to lead the Colonels to a non-district rout over Rappahannock County at Shirley Gymnasium on Monday night.

The Colonels (5-2) took a commanding 26-5 lead after the opening quarter and led 49-12 at the half.

Colin Watts added 11 points, five assists and four steals, and Benjamin Sear finished with 11 points for the Colonels. James Wood’s Sam Costin also scored in double figures with 10 and had seven rebounds, and teammate Noah Sullivan finished with nine points, four assists and three steals.
