BOONSBORO, MD. — Matt Nolan scored a game-high 19 points to help Boonsboro edge James Wood in the opening round of the Boonsboro Holiday Tournament.

With the game knotted at 57, Boonsboro outscored the Colonels 10-6 in the extra session.

Alex Wetzel added 15 points, and Dalton Stewart chipped in 13 for Boonsboro.

Chandler Brooks led James Wood with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals. Sam Costin also scored 15 points, and Robert Jackson added a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Colonels.

James Wood (6-3) plays Faith Christian in the consolation round today at 3 p.m.
