WARRENTON — Fauquier outscored James Wood 20-11 in the last quarter, pulling away to a Northwestern District triumph.
Ben Smith led the Colonels (5-8, 0-4 district) with 16 points. Cam Firebaugh added 11 points, eight assists, eight rebounds and three steals. Smith added six boards.
Angelo Brizzi led Fauquier (6-5, 3-2) with 19 points.
