James Wood's Firebaugh notches first triple-double

BEALETON — James Wood’s Cameron Firebaugh had his first career triple-double, but the Colonels fell 73-65 in a Class 4 Northwestern District boys’ basketball game on Tuesday.

Firebaugh had 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead James Wood (6-13, 0-9), which trailed 27-22 at the half and 52-38 after three quarters.

Also for the Colonels, Ben Smith had 15 points and Trent Campbell had 13. Trey Evans had six rebounds.
