BOYS' BASKETBALL - Falcons 88, Colonels 79

WARRENTON —Trent Campbell scored a career-high 27 points, but James Wood was unable to overcome Northwestern District foe Fauquier on Tuesday.

The Falcons took a 24-17 after one quarter and held on from there.

Cam Firebaugh piled up 25 points, 11 assists, eight rebounds and four steals for the Colonels (6-14, 0-11 district). Ben Smith added 15 points.

Angelo Brizzi’s 22 points led four Falcons in double figures. Dakari Mullins and Frankie Strano added 18 and 16 points, respectively. Fauquier nailed 13 3-pointers and was 21 of 28 from the foul line.
