Parents: Brian Harlow Jr. and April Barzee

Hometown: Winchester

What do you love about basketball: I like teammates and people to see every single day and get to hang out with and get to know.

Most memorable moment in basketball: When I was a freshman [on the JV team] and we beat Handley. That was a big upset for us. We beat Handley without our star player because he moved up to varsity.

Most embarrassing moment in basketball: One time I passed the ball to the ref and the ref caught the ball.

Three people you can have dinner with, dead or alive: My great grandma [Rose Witmer] and my other great grandma [I only knew here as GG] because I haven’t seen them in a long time; Oprah Winfrey, I just think she’s a really nice lady and she’s inspirational.

What’s the best athletic advice you’ve ever received: “Always be hustling and always be going your hardest.” My dad has been telling me that ever since I was in elementary school.

If you could go on a trip anywhere in the world, where would you go: France, I’d like to see the Eiffel Tower.

Favorite teacher: My science teacher Miss [Carrie] Donald. She just always helps me out. She’s just a good teacher and knows her stuff really well.

Favorite athlete: Steve Nash

Favorite team: Washington Redskins

Favorite movie: “Elf”

Favorite TV show: “Shameless”

Favorite song: Anything by Trippie Redd

Favorite food: Mashed potatoes with cheese

Plans after high school: I’m going to apply to JMU, but I’ll probably end up going to Lord Fairfax. I’m not sure what I will study. I’d like to do something in dentistry. My aunt is a dental hygienist. I just thought it was kind of cool cleaning people’s teeth and it’s a fun way to make money.
