Boys' basketball: Fauquier 70, James Wood 66, OT

WINCHESTER — James Wood rallied from a 15-point deficit after one quarter to force overtime, but Fauquier outscored the Colonels 12-8 in the extra period on Friday.

The Colonels (1-1) trailed 23-8 after one quarter, but cut the margin to 32-29 at the half. They trailed 43-41 after three quarters and the contest was tied at 58-58 at the end of regulation. Dylan Donner scored five points in overtime to fuel the Falcons.
