Boys Basketball - James Wood 64, Liberty 63

BEALETON — Ashton Kees scored on a layup off a Brodie Sirbaugh assist with one second left as James Wood defeated Liberty in a Class 4 Northwestern District game on Monday.

With six seconds left, Sirbaugh dribbled the length of the court before passing. Liberty took a shot three-quarters of the court away from the hoop after Kees scored but missed. The win gave James Wood (5-11, 1-5 district) a season-split with Liberty.

James Wood leaders: Kees 17 points, 11 rebounds; Kemper Omps 8 assists; Sirbaugh, Ronnie Barrett, Shaun Johnson 7 points each.
