All Region 4D - Boys' Basketball

Handley freshman Will Braun-Duin and Sherando senior Trey Williams were area players selected to the All-Region 4D teams that were released Monday.

Brauin-Duin, a 6-foot-2 guard who was the Class 4 Northwestern District Player of the Year, averaged 23.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists during the regular season for Judges. Williams, a 6-0 guard, averaged 18.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists for the Warriors.

Handley sophomore forward Kyren Oglesby (11.1 ppg, 6.9 rpg) and Sherando senior post Drew Tyson (13.7 ppg, 6.4 rpg) were selected to the Second Team.

James Wood senior forward Ashton Kees (14.4 ppg, 5.2 rpg), Handley sophomore guard Jaevon Brisco (5.7 ppg, 3.0 apg) and Millbrook senior guard Chase Ford (12.5 ppg, 2.8 apg) were Honorable Mention picks.

Charlottesville senior guard Aidan Yates received Player of the Year honors and the Black Knights' Mitch Minor was named Coach of the Year.
