James Wood boys defeat Boonsboro for 4th straight victory

BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. — The James Wood High School boys' basketball team defeated Boonsboro 57-49 on Friday at the Berkeley Springs (West Virginia) tournament for its fourth straight victory.

After starting the season 0-4, the Colonels are now 4-4. They trailed Boonsboro 19-16 after the first quarter and led 27-26 at halftime and 41-35 after the third quarter.

Wood leaders: Brodie Sirbaugh 14 points; Ashby Copenhaver 14 points; Paul Brooks 10 points; Jordyn Sweetser 10 points.
