FRONT ROYAL- James Wood got its first district win of the season with a 52-35 win over Skyline on the road Tuesday.

The Colonels (8-6, 1-2 Northwestern District) led 17-8 after the first quarter and controlled the game the rest of the way.

Guard Danielle Rizzari knocked down three 3-pointers on her way to a team-high 13 points and teammates Whitney Dick and Morgan Duncan added nine apiece in the victory.
