Generals edge Lady Colonels for first victory

QUICKSBURG — In their third outing of the young basketball season, Stonewall Jackson was seeking its first victory. But after they tied the game with 5:04 remaining in the first half against the James Wood Colonels, the Generals trailed for almost the rest of the way.
That is, until they gained a one-point lead with 1:15 left and closed out matters with a 53-50 victory on Monday night.
