Girl's Basketball - Hawks 54, Colonels 53

FRONT ROYAL — Skyline outscored James Wood 19-12 in the fourth quarter to emerge with a win in Northwestern District action Friday night.

The Colonels saw both Keiana Brooks (nine points) and Brooke Nesselrodt (17 points) suffer injuries in the fourth quarter. Brooks did not return after hers, while Nesselrodt stayed in after suffering an injury in the final minute. Neither is expected to play today.

James Wood (9-3, 0-2 Northwestern)— which made 4 of 5 free throws to Skyline’s 17 of 26 — also received 11 points from Danielle Rizzari and 10 points from Whitney Dick.
